The Hairline Topper is a light/medium density topper that provides full coverage around your hairline. It is hand tied 1 hair at a time for a natural seamless look and provides natural coverage in the hairline and sideburns. Good quality hair, invisible transition, but visible knots
Summary: Soft, silky, good quality hair and great for blending with the hair over thinning hairline, but it did arrive with a yellow tone and visible knots. which I will have no choice but to bleach the knots and purple tone the hair. The quality and length of the hair itself makes me feel more confident to wear my naturally white hair out in public and go without my full wig! Me: female, 49.
Pros: Hair is very soft and silky, not coarse. It’s just the right amount of hair for the receding hairline that is my life now. So very glad I didn’t go with the wider width, because I have a widow’s peak and the thinner width lace is perfect.
Cons: When I sent a photo of the hairline to my sister, she said, “What are those dark specs?” And I looked more closely and there are numerous visible dark brown knots at the front hairline. Not sure why that would be with the gray hair color. They should have bleached the knots before selling this. The customer shouldn't have to pay $600 and have to do additional work to the piece. If I bleach the knots here, it will likely weaken them and damage the lace. This will be something I’ll be paranoid about people seeing if don’t do it though. Disappointed that this is the case after paying so much for this piece. See photo of what I’m talking about. If my hair were brown it would be fine, but this is the snow gray color!
Regarding the color, it arrived yellowy white. I applied petroleum jelly on the lace to protect it then toned the hair…
