I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 months ago at the age of 36, and being told I was going to do IV chemo was scary. How was I going to explain to my daughter (5) why I was losing my hair. How were my patients going to look at me? I work in labor and delivery and my fear was they would see me as “sick” and would question if I could/ would get them and their newborn sick.

So, I ordered a wig (not from Milano) and I looked like Garth from Wayne’s World. I had long (20in), naturally wavy, thick hair. So, after refusing to be Garth, I DUG AND RESEARCHED, and put my fears and emotions into God’s hands. I knew my hair would be falling out soon and it was a race against time. I live in an area where wig shops are very far away.
My late night searches kept leading me to Milano. I was so scared to spend the money and look like another 90’s cover band member. But, the return/ policy with Milano gave me peace of mind.
I ordered this 22in ponytail wig.. and I tracked the order/shipping like I was tracking Santa on Christmas Eve. IT CAME! And I immediately went in and tried it on. I was shocked.
